Food Poisoning
Food poisoning can occasionally occur after eating food on the street. Instead of getting to the doctor right away, start your therapy at home by going through your kitchen.
Garlic:
Diarrhoeal and stomach discomfort symptoms are alleviated by its antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal activities. Suck on a raw garlic clove, then drink some warm water. A third option is to boil some water with a few garlic cloves and drink it throughout the day.
Lemon water:
Lemon's acidic characteristics assist get rid of the germs causing havoc in your stomach. Add a sprinkle of sugar to a teaspoon of lemon juice and drink the mixture two to three times a day to help your digestive system. You could also add one entire lemon's worth of juice to a glass of warm water and sip on it all day.
Apple cider vinegar (ACV)
Apple cider vinegar:
The digestive system might experience instant relief from inflammation thanks to the acids in apple cider vinegar. Before eating, combine two teaspoons of ACV with a glass of hot water.
Basil:
Any type of gastrointestinal discomfort, including food poisoning, can be relieved by this plant. Additionally, its anti-microbial qualities aid in eliminating any bacteria or other microorganisms in the stomach. A few fresh basil leaves and two to three cups of water should be put on the stove to boil. Add some honey when it has cooled, then drink this throughout the day. For a quick flavor boost, you could simply stir a few fresh basils leaves into a container of plain yogurt
Cumin seeds:
Food poisoning-related pain and inflammation are reduced by cumin seeds or jeera. You may make this herbal beverage or chew on some jeera throughout the day. One teaspoon of cumin seeds should be boiled in a cup of water. This herbal beverage can be made either with asafoetida and salt or with a teaspoon of coriander juice and a little salt. Drink it twice a day to help your body get clean.
Honey:
Honey, which has antibacterial and antifungal characteristics, relieves indigestion as well as other food poisoning symptoms. Enjoy a spoonful of organic honey three times each day to reduce the production of extra acid, which will help your stomach feel better.
Bananas:
You could not get enough potassium if you have diarrhea and vomiting. A ripe banana can be consumed to maintain potassium levels and replenish lost energy. Two bananas and a cup of boiling and chilled milk can also be blended to create a banana shake. This shake should be consumed three times a day with a pinch of cinnamon added.
Yogurt and fenugreek seeds
Fenugreek:
Yogurt's antimicrobial and antibacterial qualities help against the microorganisms that cause food illness. Fenugreek seeds are used to relieve stomach pain. Fenugreek seeds should be soaked for a teaspoon until they soften. After eating these seeds, have a spoonful of yogurt. Throughout the day, repeat this at regular intervals.
Orange juice
Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients included in fresh orange juice are abundant and assist in bringing your body's blood pressure levels back into the normal range. Two tablespoons of cornstarch syrup and six to seven medium-sized oranges should be blended in a blender. For immediate comfort, sip on this juice many times each day.
Other tips
You must give your stomach a vacation. For the first several hours, stay away from dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Also, avoid eating heavy or fatty foods.
By sometimes consuming some water, non-carbonated beverages, or chicken broth, you may keep yourself hydrated. You may reward yourself with light meals over time, such as congee (rice gruel), cracker biscuits, or bananas. If your nausea returns, stop eating. Ensure that you receive adequate sleep.
